About Q Systems

Q Systems, Inc. was founded in 1988 by Eric Merz, an independent developer of business software since 1981. The company was started with numerous clients in the northeast U.S. and grew steadily throughout the United States and Canada. Mr. Merz also developed the DB/Q Applications Development and Management System which serves as the engine for all of the applications supported by Q Systems.

Barbara Merz, also having a background in business application software development, has taken over the operations of Q Systems, Inc. since late 2016, and shares the same philosophy of dedication to one's clients.

The Co-op Toolkit was initially developed in 1988 in response to newspapers' demand for better co-operative advertising software tools. Since then, we have continually focused our efforts on providing superior systems and services to media companies and retailers to address their co-op advertising and vendor funds management needs. Today, the Co-op Toolkit is widely accepted by many of the nation's leading retail executives and advertising professionals as the vendor funds management system of choice.
